Footsteps Walking Tour: Stop #32

A self-guided heritage walk around the campus of St Patrick's College for Girls Campbelltown

Westview

The Westview building was constructed in 1986 and is located in the area that was once the College Animal Farm (1977 - 1986) and cattle-grazing paddocks (St. John's Preparatory College 'Westview'). There are three plaques secured to this building. The first is the 1986 Father Bernard Dowdell plaque. The second plaque (1992) named this building Westview and honoured Sister Claudia Gearing sgs, a much-loved teacher of St John's Preparatory College "Westview". The third plaque recognises an extension which was completed in 2006. Modernisation and renovations to accommodate a change in faculty use (College Design Centre) were completed in 2019.

Located behind Westview is the College Uniform Shop.
