Referencing Information found on St Patrick's College Canvas (examples are in blue)


  Referencing any notes, images or information found on Canvas that has been added by your teacher is referenced a little differently to other sources of information.

 It is always best to try and find the original source. If there is an image or PDF on Canvas you would like to reference, it is best practice to find where it originally came from and reference the original source, however when this is not possible please use the examples below to reference information found on Canvas or discussed by your Teacher during class.

 Capital letters in the title: There should only be a capital letter for the first word in the title, the first word in the subtitle, or for a proper noun (such as a place or a person's name). All other words in the title are lower case.

 Title is in italics: The title of the document / image is in italics UNLESS you do not have a title and you are creating your own (see examples below)
