Key Elements of Fantasy fiction:
Often set in other worlds or medieval times - Possibly involves mythical beings - Characters with magical powers - Often a battle between good and evil

Language Features of Fantasy fiction:
Can be first person e.g. a diary, or third person - Detailed description, particularly of the setting and creatures - Magical / fantastical phrases or words
