A Message from
Our School Captain...

Dear St Patrick's College Community,

I wish you all a safe and happy holiday season! During this time, I hope that you’re able to surround yourself with loved ones, especially after such a long period of separation and uncertainty. May God be with you through your time of reflection and be present through your celebrations. We hope you are able to relax, recharge and unwind when getting into the Christmas spirit. For all families within the community of other faiths, we extend our wishes and hope for peace through these upcoming holidays.

On behalf of the Student Leadership team of 2021/22, we wish you all a blessed Christmas filled with joy and the happiest of New Year!

Kind regards,

Prayer

A Christmas Prayer from Mr Gattone...

The mystery of Christmas is the monumental event of God taking on human form - the Word of God, that is, the person of Jesus, is God in human form. The formal word for this occurrence is “incarnation”.

Calling to humanity throughout the ages

Heaven awaits the sending of a King

Raised from the House of Israel

Inviting all nations to be guided by love

Saving humanity from all evil

Thankfully, we give praise to the God who saves

Making us into the image of Jesus

Assuring humanity of unconditional love

Selflessly given

We praise you, Lord,
for you are the God who gifts us with your presence in the person of Jesus, your Son,
born in humbleness in Bethlehem.
We give you thanks for this joyful time of year
which is the season of peace and good will.
Bless us with your generous love so that, in turn,
we may bring your love to others, especially
to those who are most in need.
Through Jesus, the Christ,
and the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
