Your Invitation...

The St Patrick’s College Library invites parents of students in Year 10, Year 11 and Year 12, to take part in ‘Bound Together Book Club’, with your daughter, during the holidays.

To sign up, email Mrs Feely in the College Library, at mfeely@saintpatricks.nsw.edu.au, nominating a first and second preference book from the selections in this guide that you would like to read along with your daughter.

We will then loan you two copies of the book and provide you with some discussion questions.

What is 'Bound Together'?

What the research says….

The research is clear that reading for enjoyment is linked to enhanced learning outcomes. But it's more than that - reading builds empathy, imagination and is a window into multiple lives and experiences. We want all students to ENJOY READING!

Our 'Bound Together Book Club' program is designed to promote reading engagement by getting students and parents to read the same book at the same time, discussing what is happening and what might happen. We have chosen some absolute page-turners to get you and your daughter enjoying a book together.
